Bendmark privacy policy
Effective 21 October 2026 ยท Bendmark: Conduit Bending (com.bendmark.app)
What the app stores
The measurements you type, your saved jobs, the benders you pick or add, and your settings (units, rounding, theme, language). They are stored only on your device. If you use Android's own backup, Android may include them in your device backup, which is handled by Google under your Google account's backup settings; we never receive it.
What the app sends
Nothing. Bendmark makes no network requests of its own and has no server. We do not collect, receive, sell or share any personal or usage data.
Purchases
Bendmark Pro is a one-time purchase handled entirely by Google Play. Google processes the payment under the Google Payments privacy notice. The app only asks Google Play on your device whether Pro has been bought; we never see your payment details. This is the only reason the app's package declares network permissions (they come from Google's billing library). The free trial is tracked on your device only.
Sensors and permissions
The angle gauge reads the phone's motion sensor while it is open, only to show an angle on screen. The app can vibrate for key presses and the gauge. It does not use the camera, microphone, location, contacts, photos or files.
Sharing and reports
When you share a mark sheet, Android's share sheet sends it to the app you choose. "Report a wrong number" opens a draft in your email app with the calculation details; nothing is sent unless you send that email yourself. If you email us, we use your message and address only to reply.
Children
Bendmark is a tool for electricians and is not directed at children.
Deleting your data
Delete a saved job in the app, clear the app's storage in Android settings, or uninstall the app. There is no data held by us to delete.
Changes and contact
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new effective date. Questions: weaponoid7798@gmail.com.
